«لا تبيعوا الذهب بالذهب إلا مثلا بمثل ولا تشفوا بعضها على بعض ولا تبيعوا الورق بالورق إلا مثلا بمثل ولا تشفوا بعضها على بعض ولا تبيعوا منها غائبا بناجز»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Sell gold for gold only like for like, and do not give one more than the other; sell silver for silver only like for like, and do not give one more than the other; and do not sell any of them that is absent (on credit) for what is present (in hand)."
