«لا أركب الأرجوان ولا ألبس المعصفر ولا ألبس القميص المكفف بالحرير ألا وطيب الرجال ريح لا لون له ألا وطيب النساء لون لا ريح له»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I do not ride on purple, nor do I wear safflower-dyed clothing, nor do I wear a shirt hemmed with silk. Behold! The perfume of men is that which has fragrance but no colour, and the perfume of women is that which has colour but no fragrance."
