«لا أحد أغير من الله ولذلك حرم الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن ولا أحد أحب إليه المدح من الله ولذلك مدح نفسه ولا أحد أحب إليه العذر من الله من أجل ذلك أنزل الكتاب وأرسل الرسل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There is none more jealous (ghayur) than Allah, and that is why He has forbidden indecencies, whether open or hidden; there is none to whom praise is more beloved than Allah, and that is why He praised Himself; and there is none to whom offering excuse is more beloved than Allah, and for that reason He sent down the Book and sent the Messengers."
