«هل تدرون ما الكوثر؟ هونهر أعطانيه ربي في الجنة عليه خير كثير ترد عليه أمتي يوم القيامة آنيته عدد الكواكب يختلج العبد منهم فأقول: يا رب أنه من أمتي فيقال: إنك لا تدري ما أحدثوا بعدك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do you know what al-Kawthar is? It is a river which my Lord has given me in Paradise. There is abundant good in it. My Ummah will come to it on the Day of Resurrection. Its vessels are as numerous as the stars. A servant among them will suddenly be pulled away, and I will say: 'O Lord, he is from my Ummah!' And it will be said: 'You do not know what they innovated after you.'"
