«هل أنتم تاركوا لي أمرائي؟ إنما مثلكم ومثلهم كمثل رجل استرعى إبلا أو غنما فرعاها ثم تحين سقيها فأوردها حوضا فشرعت فيه فشربت صفوه وتركت كدره فصفوه لكم وكدره عليهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Will you leave my commanders to me? The example of you and them is like a man who was given camels or sheep to graze. He grazed them, then when the time came to water them, he brought them to a trough. They went into it, drank its clear water and left its murky water. So its clear part is for you and its murky part is upon them."
