«إذا فسد أهل الشام فلا خير فيكم ولا تزال طائفة من أمتي منصورين لا يضرهم من خذلهم حتى تقوم الساعة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When the people of Syria (al-Sham) become corrupt (fall into corruption), there will be no good left in you. And a group from my Ummah will always remain victorious upon the truth; whoever tries to disgrace (or abandon) them will not be able to harm them until the Hour is established."
