«إذا فرغ أحدكم من صلاته فليدع بأربع ثم ليدع بعد بما شاء: اللهم إني أعوذ بك من عذاب جهنم وعذاب القبر وفتنة المحيا والممات وفتنة المسيح الدجال»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When one of you finishes his prayer (that is, its tashahhud), he should supplicate (for refuge) from four things, and after that he may supplicate for whatever he wishes: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min adhabi jahannam, wa adhabil-qabr, wa fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat, wa fitnatil-masihid-dajjal' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell, the punishment of the grave, the trial of life and death, and the trial of the Masih al-Dajjal)."
