«النكاح سنتي فمن لم يعمل بسنتي فليس مني وتزوجوا فإني مكاثر بكم الأمم يوم القيامة ومن كان ذا طول فلينكح ومن لم يجد فعليه بالصيام فإن الصوم له وجاء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Marriage is my Sunnah, so whoever does not act upon my Sunnah is not of me. And marry, for I will take pride in your great numbers before the other nations on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever has the means, let him marry, and whoever does not have the means, let him fast, for fasting is a shield for him."
