"الناس معادن كمعادن الذهب والفضة، خيارهم في الجاهلية خيارهم في الإسلام إذا فقهوا والأرواح جنود مجندة فما تعارف منها ائتلف وما تناكر منها اختلف"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"People are like mines, like mines of gold and silver; those who were the best of them in the Days of Ignorance are the best of them in Islam, provided they gain understanding. And souls are like enlisted troops: those of them that recognise one another come together, and those that are strangers to one another differ."
