«المتوفى عنها زوجها لا تلبس المعصفر من الثياب ولا الممشقة ولا الحلي ولا تختضب ولا تكتحل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The woman whose husband has died should not wear clothes dyed with safflower (yellow), nor clothes dyed with red ochre, nor jewellery; nor should she apply henna, nor apply kohl."
