«المؤذن يغفر له مدى صوته ويشهد له كل رطب ويابس وشاهد الصلاة يكتب له خمس وعشرون صلاة ويكفر عنه ما بينهما»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The mu'adhdhin is forgiven as far as his voice reaches, and every moist and dry thing bears witness for him; and for the one who attends the prayer, twenty-five prayers are recorded, and the sins between them are expiated for him."
