The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Iraq will withhold its dirham and its measure (qafiz), Syria will withhold its mudd and its dinar, and Egypt will withhold its ardab and its dinar; and you will return to where you began, you will return to where you began, you will return to where you began."
