«من وجد لقطة فليشهد ذوي عدل ولا يكتم ولا يعبث فإن وجد صاحبها فليردها عليه وإلا فهو مال الله يؤتيه من يشاء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever finds a lost item, let him take upright witnesses, and let him neither conceal it nor tamper with it. Then, if its owner is found, let him return it to him; otherwise, it is the wealth of Allah, which He gives to whomever He wills."
