"من كانت همه الآخرة جمع الله له شمله، وجعل غناه في قلبه وأتته الدنيا راغمة ومن كانت همه الدنيا فرق الله عليه أمره وجعل فقره بين عينيه ولم يأته من الدنيا إلا ما كتب الله له "
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever makes the Hereafter his concern, Allah Almighty gathers his scattered affairs for him, places his self-sufficiency in his heart, and the world comes to him humbled. And whoever makes this world his concern, Allah Almighty scatters his affairs, places his poverty before his eyes, and he receives nothing of this world except what Allah Almighty has written for him."
