«من كان له ذبح يذبحه فإذا أهل هلال ذي الحجة فلا يأخذن من شعره ولا من أظفاره شيئا حتى يضحي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever has a sacrificial animal to slaughter, when the crescent moon of Dhul-Hijjah is sighted, he should not cut his hair or his nails until he has offered his sacrifice."
