«إذا صلى أحدكم فليبدأ بتحميد الله تعالى والثناء عليه ثم ليصل على النبي ثم ليدع بعد بما شاء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When one of you prays, let him begin by praising Allah Almighty and extolling Him, then send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then after that supplicate for whatever he wishes."
