«من قتل له قتيل فهو بخير النظرين إما أن يقاد وإما أن يفدي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever has a relative killed has the choice of the better of two options: either he takes retribution (qisas), or he takes the blood money and forgives."
