«من قتل في عميا في رمى يكون بينهم بحجارة أو بالسياط أو ضرب بعصا فهو خطأ وعقله عقل الخطأ ومن قتل عمدا فهو قود يد ومن حال دونه فعليه لعنة الله وغضبه لا يقبل منه صرفا ولا عدلا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever is killed in a blind fight in which people strike with stones, whips or a stick, that is accidental, and his blood money is the blood money for accidental killing. And whoever kills deliberately, retribution (qisas) will be taken from him, and whoever prevents him from retribution, upon him is the curse of Allah and His wrath, and neither any voluntary deed nor any obligatory deed of his will be accepted."
