«من غسل يوم الجمعة واغتسل ثم بكر وابتكر ومشى ولم يركب ودنا من الإمام واستمع وأنصت ولم يلغ كان له بكل خطوة يخطوها من بيته إلى المسجد عمل سنة أجر صيامها وقيامها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever washes his head and takes a ritual bath (ghusl) on Friday, then sets out early and arrives first, goes on foot and does not ride, sits close to the imam, listens attentively, remains silent and does not engage in idle talk, will have, for every step he takes from his house to the mosque, the reward of a year's fasting and its night prayer."
