«من ضرب غلاما له حدا لم يأته أو لطمه فإن كفارته أن يعتقه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever beats his slave as a punishment for something he did not commit, or slaps him, its expiation is that he sets him free."
