«من صام يوما في سبيل الله باعد الله بذلك اليوم حر جهنم عن وجهه سبعين خريفا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever fasts one day in the path of Allah, Allah Almighty, because of that one day, will keep the heat of Hell away from his face the distance of seventy years."
