«من سن سنة حسنة عمل بها بعده كان له أجره ومثل أجورهم من غير أن ينقص من أجورهم شيء ومن سن سنة سيئة فعمل بها بعده كان عليه وزرها ومثل أوزارهم من غير أن ينقص من أوزارهم شيء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever introduces a good practice that is acted upon after him will have its reward and the like of their reward, without anything being reduced from their rewards; and whoever introduces an evil practice that is acted upon after him will bear its sin and the like of their sins, without anything being reduced from their sins."
