«من رابط يوما وليلة في سبيل الله كان له كأجر صيام شهر وقيامه ومن مات مرابطا جرى له مثل ذلك من الأجر وأجري عليه الرزق وأمن الفتان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever stands guard (on the frontier) for a day and a night in the path of Allah will have a reward like that of fasting a month and standing (in prayer) during it; and whoever dies while standing guard, this same reward will continue for him, his provision will also continue, and he will be safe from the one who puts to trial (the questioning angels)."
