«من ذبح قبل الصلاة فإنما يذبح لنفسه ومن ذبح بعد الصلاة فقد تم نسكه وأصاب سنة المسلمين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever slaughters (his sacrifice) before the prayer, slaughters only for himself; and whoever slaughters after the prayer, his sacrifice is complete and he has attained the way of the Muslims."
