«إذا سمعتم بالطاعون بأرض فلا تدخلوا عليه وإذا وقع وأنتم بأرض فلا تخرجوا فرارا منه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When you hear of the plague (spreading) in a land, do not go there; and if it breaks out in a land where you are, do not leave it fleeing from it."
