«من اغتسل يوم الجمعة واستاك ومس من طيب إن كان عنده ولبس من أحسن ثيابه ثم خرج حتى يأتي المسجد ولم يتخط رقاب الناس ثم ركع ما شاء الله أن يركع ثم أنصت إذا خرج الإمام فلم يتكلم حتى يفرغ من صلاته كانت كفارة لما بينها وبين الجمعة الأخرى»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever performs the ritual bath (ghusl) on Friday, uses the tooth-stick (miswak), applies perfume if he has any, puts on his best clothes, then goes out and comes to the mosque without stepping over people's necks, then offers as much voluntary prayer as he wishes, then keeps silent when the imam comes out and does not speak until his prayer is finished, it becomes an expiation for the sins between that Friday and the next."
