«إذا سلم عليكم اليهود فإنما يقول أحدهم: السام عليك فقل: وعليك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When the Jews greet you, one of them says (instead of 'As-salamu 'alaykum'): 'As-samu 'alayk' (death be upon you), so say (in reply): 'Wa 'alayk' (and upon you too)."
