«إذا سرتم في أرض خصبة فأعطوا الدواب حظها وإذا سرتم في أرض مجدبة فانجوا عليها وإذا عرستم فلا تعرسوا على قارعة الطريق فإنها مأوى كل دابة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When you travel through green and fertile land, give the animals their share (of fodder); and when you pass through drought-stricken (barren) land, hasten your journey on them; and when you halt at night, do not stop in the middle of the road, for it is the dwelling place of every creature (and creeping thing)."
