«ما من رجل يدعوبدعاء إلا استجيب له فإما أن يعجل له في الدنيا وإما أن يدخر له في الآخرة،........ ما لم يدع بإثم أو قطيعة رحم أو يستعجل يقول: دعوت ربي فما استجاب لي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There is no man who makes a supplication except that his supplication is answered: either it is given to him quickly in this world, or it is stored up for him in the Hereafter, as long as he does not supplicate for a sin or for severing the ties of kinship, or become hasty, saying: 'I supplicated to my Lord, but He did not answer me.'"
