"ما زال بكم الذي رأيت من صنيعكم حتى خشيت أن يكتب عليكم ولو كتب عليكم ما قمتم به فصلوا أيها الناس في بيوتكم فإن أفضل صلاة المرء في بيته إلا الصلاة المكتوبة "
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What you were doing continued in this way until I feared that this prayer would be made obligatory upon you, and had it been made obligatory upon you, you would not have kept it up. So, O people, pray in your homes, for the best prayer of a man is in his home, except the obligatory prayer."
