«ما رأيت من ناقصات عقل ولا دين أغلب لذي لب منكن أما نقصان العقل فشهادة امرأتين بشهادة رجل وأما نقصان الدين فإن إحداكن تفطر رمضان وتقيم أياما لا تصلي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Despite being deficient in intellect and religion, I have not seen anyone more able than you women to overcome a man of sound understanding. As for the deficiency in intellect, it is that the testimony of two women equals the testimony of one man; and as for the deficiency in religion, it is that one of you leaves off fasting in Ramadan and spends several days without praying."
