«ليكونن في أمتي أقوام يستحلون الخز والحرير والخمر والمعازف ولينزلن أقوام إلى جنب علم تروح عليهم سارحتهم فيأتيهم آت لحاجته فيقولون له: ارجع إلينا غدا فيبعثهم الله ويقع العلم عليهم ويمسخ منهم آخرين قردة وخنازير إلى يوم القيامة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There will certainly be people in my Ummah who will regard khazz (silk-blend cloth), silk, wine and musical instruments as lawful. And some people will camp at the foot of a mountain; their livestock will return to them in the evening, and a needy man will come to them, and they will say to him: Come back to us tomorrow. Then Allah will bring the mountain down upon them by night, and will turn some others into apes and swine until the Day of Resurrection."
