«ليس على الرجل طلاق فيما لا يملك ولا عتاق فيما لا يملك ولا بيع فيما لا يملك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man's divorce does not take effect in what he does not own, nor does emancipation take effect in what he does not own, nor does a sale take effect in what he does not own."
