«ليس شيء أطيع الله تعالى فيه أعجل ثوابا من صلة الرحم وليس شيء أعجل عقابا من البغي وقطيعة الرحم واليمين الفاجرة تدع الديار بلاقع»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There is nothing in obedience to Allah Almighty that brings reward more swiftly than maintaining the ties of kinship, and there is nothing that brings punishment more swiftly than oppression and severing the ties of kinship; and a false oath leaves homes desolate."
