Sahih al-Jami al-Saghir 539 — When any of you is invited to a meal, he
«إذا دعي أحدكم إلى طعام فليجب فإن كان مفطرا فليأكل وإن كان صائما فليصل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When any of you is invited to a meal, he should accept; if he is not fasting he should eat, and if he is fasting he should supplicate for him."
