«إذا دعا أحدكم فليعزم المسألة ولا يقل: اللهم إن شئت فأعطني فإن الله لا مستكره له»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When any of you supplicates, he should ask with firm conviction and not say: 'O Allah, if You wish, then give me,' for there is no one who can compel Allah Almighty (that is, force Him)."
