«لما أغرق الله فرعون قال:» آمنت أنه لا إله إلا الذي آمنت به بنوا إسرائيل قال جبريل: يا محمد! فلو رأيتني وأنا آخذ من حال البحر فأدسه في فيه مخافة أن تدركه الرحمة"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When Allah Almighty drowned Pharaoh, he said: 'I believe that there is no god except the One in whom the Children of Israel believe.' Jibril said: 'O Muhammad, if only you had seen me as I took mud from the sea and stuffed it into his mouth, fearing that mercy might reach him.'"
