«إذا دخل أحدكم إلى القوم فأوسع له فليجلس فإنما هي كرامة من الله أكرمه بها أخوه المسلم فإن لم يوسع له فلينظر أوسعها مكانا فليجلس فيه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When any of you comes to a gathering of people and room is made for him, he should sit there, for this is an honour from Allah with which his Muslim brother has honoured him. And if room is not made for him, he should look for the most spacious place and sit there."
