«كان يلحظ في الصلاة يمينا وشمالا ولا يلوي عنقه خلف ظهره»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) would glance to the right and left in prayer, but he would not turn his neck to look behind him."
