«كان لا يدع قيام الليل وكان إذا مرض أو كسل صلى قاعدا»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) never left the night prayer (qiyam al-layl), and when he was ill or felt lethargic, he would pray sitting."
