«كان له مؤذنان: بلال وابن أم مكتوم الأعمى»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) had two callers to prayer (mu'adhdhins): Bilal and the blind Companion Ibn Umm Maktum."
