Sahih al-Jami al-Saghir 4698 — When he ﷺ performed ablution, he would
«كان إذا توضأ أدار الماء على مرفقيه»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he would pass the water around both his elbows (making sure it reached them well)."
