«كان إذا اشتكى نفث على نفسه بالمعوذات ومسح عنه بيده»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill, he would recite the Mu'awwidhat, blow over himself, and pass his hand over his body."
