«إذا جاء أحدكم يوم الجمعة والإمام يخطب فليصل ركعتين وليتجوز فيهما»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When one of you comes (to the mosque) on Friday while the imam is delivering the sermon, let him pray two rak'ahs (tahiyyat al-masjid) and keep them brief."
