«الكبائر سبع: الإشراك بالله وقتل النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق وقذف المحصنة والفرار من الزحف وأكل الربا وأكل مال اليتيم والرجوع إلى الأعرابية بعد الهجرة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The major sins are seven: associating partners with Allah, unjustly killing the soul that Allah has made sacred, slandering a chaste woman, fleeing from the battlefield of jihad, consuming usury (riba), consuming the wealth of an orphan, and returning to Bedouin life after the emigration (Hijrah)."
