«إذا توضأ أحدكم ولبس خفيه فليصل فيهما وليمسح عليهما ثم لا يخلعهما إن شاء إلا من جنابة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When one of you performs ablution and puts on his leather socks (khuffs), let him pray in them and wipe over them; then, if he wishes, he need not take them off, except in the state of major ritual impurity (janabah, when ghusl becomes obligatory)."
