«إذا تطهر الرجل ثم مر إلى المسجد يرعى الصلاة كتب له كاتبه بكل خطوة يخطوها إلى المسجد عشر حسنات والقاعد يرعى الصلاة كالقانت ويكتب من المصلين من حين يخرج من بيته حتى يرجع إليه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When a man purifies himself and then goes to the mosque with the intention of praying, his recorder (angel) writes for him ten good deeds for every step he takes towards the mosque. The one who sits waiting for the prayer is like one engaged in devout worship, and he is counted among those praying from the time he leaves his house until he returns to it."
