«فضلت بأربع: جعلت لي الأرض مسجدا وطهورا فأيما رجل من أمتي أتى الصلاة فلم يجد ما يصلي عليه وجد الأرض مسجدا وطهورا وأرسلت إلى الناس كافة ونصرت بالرعب من مسيرة شهرين يسير بين يدي وأحلت لي الغنائم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I have been favoured with four things: the earth has been made for me a place of prostration and a means of purification, so whichever man of my Ummah comes to the prayer and finds nothing to pray upon will find the earth a place of prostration and a means of purification; I have been sent to all people; I have been helped by awe cast (into the enemy) at a distance of two months' journey, which goes ahead of me; and the spoils of war have been made lawful for me."
