«إذا انتهى أحدكم إلى المجلس فليسلم فإن بدا له أن يجلس فليجلس ثم إذا قام فليسلم فليست الأولى أحق من الآخرة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When one of you arrives at a gathering, let him give the greeting of peace (salam). Then, if he wishes to sit there, let him sit. Then, when he gets up to leave, let him give the greeting (again), for the first greeting is not more deserving (or more important) than the second."
