«إذا أم أحدكم الناس فليخفف فإن فيهم الصغير والكبير والضعيف والمريض وذا الحاجة وإذا صلى لنفسه فليطول ما شاء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When any of you leads the people in prayer, he should keep it light (short), for among them (those following) are the young and the old, the weak, the sick and those with needs. And when he prays by himself, he may lengthen it as much as he wishes."
